Most often I print my digital pictures through Kodak, by uploading them to kodak gallerry and order them. I wait for a sale and then order a bundle of photos. I usually receive the photos fairly soon after I order them. In addition to the photo printing, Kodak keeps a copy of all my photos I’ve ever uploaded to them (which is every photo I take). This is my backup. If my copy at home is lost, I can always download or order a digital version of every photo I’ve taken, so long as I order from Kodak once a year.
Occasionally I have used winkflash, which has even less expensive printing options, however their graphical user web interface is very difficult to work with. For this I reserve winkflash for printing canvas prints or other items.
But there comes a time when you need a print asap. Printing from an inkjet at home certainly is a convenience, but it is hardly a convenience if your ink is low, or you don’t have the proper size paper. Cutting paper never goes as smoothly as a factory cut 4×6 print.
A small dye sublimation printer offers excellent photo printing at home. While expensive (the paper and ink are all one kit), it is worth it in so many ways. I think the biggest problem I have is that it is restricted to 4×6 photos. I would love to find a similar printer that can also print 5×7 photos.

A man in my early 30s I have a driving force for progress. Too many interests including photography, wine and the Napa Valley, website creation and computer programming. Here is a place to express and possibly monetize my thoughts, therefore not everything found here can be taken as my full beliefs.
